Pickleball
On October 15th, at the Stanford West Pickleball Courts, Farm Games hosted a thrilling doubles pickleball tournament. Eight teams of two players each took to the courts, donning their neighborhood colors to proudly represent their teams. Each game was played to 11, with the requirement of winning by 2 points, adding an element of suspense to every match. To keep players refreshed, Farm Games provided free sandwiches, ensuring everyone had the energy to compete at their best.
Participants were also treated to limited edition Farm Games Hydro Flask water bottles, a token of appreciation for their involvement in the event. The tournament kicked off at 10:00am on a Sunday, with games starting out relaxed and gradually intensifying as the day progressed. The atmosphere was enhanced by background music, adding to the excitement and creating a lively ambiance.
Pickleball has surged in popularity in recent years, attracting players of all skill levels. It was delightful to see such a diverse group of players come together with their partners all united by their love of the game. Regardless of skill level, everyone agreed that the tournament was the place to be, offering a perfect blend of competition. Farm Games extends a heartfelt thank you to all participants and attendees for their support. It is always a pleasure to host such enthusiastic individuals at our events, and we look forward to welcoming everyone back for future Farm Games events.
