3. Farm Games Guidelines
Neighborhood Tracking
Students are required to register for Farm Games events within their current neighborhood of residence. Participants may not switch neighborhoods and must maintain consistent neighborhood registrations throughout the entire academic year. The Farm Games team will check rosters and verify neighborhood status for all participants. This regulation will take effect in the 2025-2026 academic year.
Guest Playing & Switching Teams
Participants are not allowed to guest play for a different neighborhood during any Farm Games event. If your neighborhood lacks enough players before the start of a game, your team may contact a friend within the neighborhood to join. If a teammate leaves during the game, your team is permitted to call a friend from the same neighborhood to step in. The substitute must arrive within 10 minutes; if they do not, the team will continue with fewer players. Teams that lose will be eliminated from the tournament. Participants may not switch neighborhoods mid-game or between games and events. To ensure a smooth experience, we highly recommend that students sign up early and arrive on time.
Gear
In select Farm Games events, all participants will receive gear for registering and attending. Depending on the event and the number of participants, second and third place teams will also receive prizes. First place in any event will always receive gear. However, if you are playing with a different neighborhood and that neighborhood wins, you will not be eligible to receive their team prize.
Individual Rings & Trophy Name
Individual championship rings will be awarded to participants from the winning neighborhood for that academic year. To qualify for a ring and have their name featured on the trophy list, students must earn 400 or more individual points, excluding team wins.
Full Registration
If registration is full, please refrain from trying to join a different neighborhood. Instead, join our waitlist, as there is still a good chance for you to participate. For future events, we highly recommend signing up early to secure your spot.
Ejections
If you are ejected or asked to leave at any time during an event, your championship ring will be revoked, regardless of whether you have earned 400 or more points. Additionally, if you are ejected or asked to leave, you will forfeit your gear, even if your neighborhood wins the event.
